2019 Hong Kong Love Run and Charity Carnival Held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 Fundraising for needy children in Hong Kong
Hong Kong is one of the world's most serious cities with rich and poor, with about 200,000 children living below the poverty line. At present, only about half of the grass-roots students in Hong Kong have the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities, and 25% of them can only maintain it for less than three months. Most grassroots families look forward to arranging extra-curricular activities for their children, but in the end they fail to do so because they cannot afford the activities. Since 2010, "Love Force" has directly sponsored grass-roots students to participate in interest classes and extracurricular activities every year. As of last year, there were 204 beneficiaries at the grassroots level (each being a two to six month interest class or extracurricular activity), and the amount of funding has exceeded 210,000. The plan to help families in need is of great significance. It is particularly worthy of promotion. It can provide more grass-roots students with opportunities to participate in extra-curricular activities. The subsidy plan for each of the first and second semesters is 1,200 yuan, and the total annual funding is 2,400 yuan. In other words, it only costs 2,400 yuan to support a child throughout the year, which means that only 200 yuan is needed to donate per month. Please lend a helping hand to lovingly help children in need so that they can learn more comprehensively.
